Bullets  produced an excellent performance in the first half to beat Red Lions 3-0 at Mulanje Stadium.
Sankhani Mkandawire opened the scoring in the second minute of the game when a Fischer Kondowes well-taken corner kick landed directly on
Sankhani's head. He had no choice but beating Lions keeper with a powerful header.
The people's team were forced to make an early substitution following Patrick Phiri's injury in the third minute. Mike Mkwate was introduced in the ninth minute to replace the injured Phiri.

​The lead was doubled in the 22nd minute Bright Munthali scored from a rebound after Red Lions keeper failed to hold a powerful shot from Chiukepo Msowoya. 

Henry Kabichi scored the third goal in the 93rd minute to assure as Red Lions were busy committing unnecessary fouls out of frustration. 
Bullets are now leading the table with 28 points from 12 games, followed by Silver Strikers with 27 points from the same number of games. Wanderers are in the third position with 24 points from 12 games as well.
